Basake Holy Stars’ visit to Karela commences week 11 of the Ghana Premier League. Karela remains unbeaten at home, having won three and drawn two. Holy Stars, on the other hand, are bad travellers since the opening day of the 2024-25 season’s victory at Hearts of Oak have yet to record any win when the travel. In the current campaign, Holy Stars have lost four and drawn one in the five games played away. Evans Adotey must find a way to start winning points in their battle for survival.
Table toppers Medeama SC will return to the TNA Park after a 2-1 success over the beleaguered Eleven Wonders at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium. The Yellow and Mauve have lost just one game in the season, and the fans expect the three points in the visit of Bechem United.
After back-to-back draws against Medeama and Asante Kotoko, Aduana Stars will host Berekum Chelsea at the Nana Agyeman Badu Park in Dormaa-Ahenkro. Chelsea are improving after winning seven of their last 15 points, hence Aduana Stars must be careful.
Young Apostles at the Wenchi Town Park will face Accra Hearts of Oak. Phobia is the best team in away games after winning three and drawing two in the five games played. Didi Dramani’s charges looked so comfortable in the away games but lethargic at home. A visit to Wenchi will be difficult considering how well organised Young Apostles were when they faced Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara in Kumasi in the postponed league fixture.
Asante Kotoko will make a long trip to the Western Region to face Samartex. The Timber giants have won their last four games at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena and can make it five in five against the Porcupine Warriors. Asante Kotoko supporters booed head coach Karim-Zito, and a defeat in Samraboi will start putting the team under pressure. However, they remain the only team not to taste defeat in the Premier League.
Dreams will host Sweduru All Blacks, Heart of Lions will travel to Vision, and Hohoe United will welcome Eleven Wonders.
