Dominic Afriyie, who had been on the Ghana Police Services’ wanted list for a long time, was finally arrested in 2021. The notorious criminal has been involved in so many robbery cases, per multiple reports, and was chased by the Ghana Police Service to honour justice.

The 36-year-old was handed, according to GH Base news, the biggest jail term ever in the world.

Dominic Afriyie, a.k.a GH, is to spend 120 years with hard labour and life imprisonment.

What was GH’s crime?

GH led a deadly robbery that rocked Atasemanso in 2021 in Kumasi. The deadly robber assassinated Michael Dela Agbo Klu, a 43-year-old contractor who was also a pharmacist in his home in Kumasi.

GH robbed Micheal after breaking into his apartment. He made away with two phones, a laptop, and GH¢1,500.

He pleaded not guilty to a seven-member jury. The verdict was carried out on Thursday, May 15, 2025, by His Lordship Abdul Razak.

When was GH arrested?

Police arrested “GH” and three others during a late-night patrol in December 2021, recovering deadly weapons and drugs in the process.
