Arsenal and Thomas Partey could not reach an agreement to renew their contract with both parties thinking that the other’s request does not meet what they want.

After 5 years in North London, reports emanating from the English media say Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey will leave Arsenal.

Arsenal paid €50M in 2020 to Atletico Madrid for his signature. The 32-year-old Ghanaian had battled injuries in the last four years, and last season was the only one Oartey was free. He showed his talent after being injury-free and won the hearts of Arsenal fans.

Contract renewal was on the lips of both parties but has failed to materialise.

Partey will have no shortage of options as European clubs from Spain, Turkey na Italy. Outside Europe, Saudi Arabian clubs will be looking forward to signing Partey as a free agent.
