Round two matches of the CAF Champions League will be played across the continent on the weekend, with fierce contests expected.

CAF has appointed 36-year-old Ghanaian Referee Daniel Laryea to officiate the Group A encounter between Algerian club MC Alger and Tanzanian club Young Africans on Saturday night at the Stade du 5 Juillet in Algiers.

Daniel Laryea has become one of the trusted referees by CAF from the WAFU region, and he’s due to control the game with his expertise.

MC Alger, in round one, drew goalless at TP Mazembe in DR Congo, while Young Africans shockingly lost 2-0 at the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium in Dar es Salaam against Sudanese side Al Hilal.

Both sides can not afford a defeat so a huge clash is expected at 7 pm on Saturday in Algeria’s capital, Algiers.
