The Ghana Most Beautiful (GMB) 2025 contestants recently took part in the Regional Swap Night, a thrilling segment of the competition where they embodied the culture, history, and spirit of a region other than their own.

This event showcased the contestants’ creativity, cultural appreciation, and dedication to highlighting the diverse heritage.

Afedziwa Shines As Volta Region’s Voice

Afedziwa, representing the Central Region, delivered a captivating performance as the voice of Kpando in the Volta Region. Her powerful narration, elegant movements, and vibrant regalia from the Danyibakaka festival brought to life the stories of migration, resilience, and unity that define the Kpando spirit.

This outstanding performance earned her two nominations and the first Star Performance Award of the night.

Other Notable Performances

– Asakia, representing the Upper East Region, won the Most Eloquent Award for her poignant storytelling of the Central Region’s Donkor Nsuo, a sacred site where enslaved Africans took their last bath before captivity.
– Etornam from the Volta Region, who embodied the Savannah Region, won the Best Costume Award for her stunning portrayal of the region’s marriage traditions, where marriage is sealed with sweets and a handkerchief, symbolizing purity, peace, and love.

The GMB 2025 Regional Swap Night was a testament to the contestants’ ability to showcase Ghana’s rich cultural diversity and heritage.
