Asante Kotoko’s one goal project continued on Sunday afternoon at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium against Accra Lions. Albert Amoah’s strike in the 49th minute was enough to help Prosper Ogum’s Fabulous win with one goal difference once again. The Porcupine Warriors won 1-0 over Accra Lions to move to the top of the GPL.

 

Berekum Chelsea also won 1-0 at the Berekum Golden City Park against Young Apostles. Afriyie Mezack’s goal in the 72nd minute  made the difference.

 

Bibiani Gold Stars narrowly pipped Bechem United 1-0 through Micheal Nkoah’s first half strike.

Nations FC won their second away game of the season after beaten Dreams FC 1-0 through Nafiu Sulemana’s 80th minute goal.

Karela played out a 1-1 draw against defending champions Samartex SC. The Timber Giants led via Godwin Sefah’s first half goal. Hadi Muhammed with ten minutes to end the game equalised for Karela.

Nsoatreman’s first half smashing of Legon Cities was so sensational with the Nsoatre-based club taking a commanding 3 goal lead withon 38 minutes. Acquah Richard, Walid Fusseini and Anokye Morrison each scored for the home side. Alidu Mohammed’s late strike pulled one back for the struggling Legon Cities but it was too late for Paa Kwesi Fabian’s side.

 

Newly promoted sides Vision FC squared off against Basake Holy Stars at the Nii Adjei Kraku ll Sports Complex in Tema. Daniel Yemoah’s 43rd minute goal sinked Holy Stars.
