Ghana Premier League round 16 fixtures, dates and kick-off times

The outstanding fixtures of Week 22 of the Ghana Premier League will be honoured on Wednesday afternoon across all the league venues of the country.

Bibiani Gold Stars’ trip to Bechem is a tough one on paper. Bechem United has yet to concede a single goal at home in all their games, making them a huge threat whenever they play at Bechem. Bibiani Gold Stars in second place will need a win to remain in contention for the first position.

Asante Kotoko will travel to Accra to face relegation-threatened Accra Lions. Kraft’s side needs points to move away from the relegation zone, while the Porcupine Warriors also need to remain on top of the league with a win.

Defending champions Samartex SC at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena in Samraboi will welcome Karela United with both sides ready to fight for the three points.

Heart of Lions, who have failed to keep up with Kotoko and Gold Stars for the title, will face Medeama at the Kpando Sports Stadium. Bashir Hayford is still confident that his side is in contention for the title and must return to winning ways against Medeama.

Dreams FC, after five straight wins in the league, was severely beaten by Medeama last Friday. The 4-0 defeat ensured that the Still Believe’s winning run was ended. They will make a long trip to Abrankese to face Nations FC, who are also fancying their chances for the league title.

Holy Stars entertain Vision as Young Apostles hosts Berekum Chelsea at the Wenchi Town Park in Wenchi.

Accra Hearts of Oak, after 11 years with no victory over Aduana at Dormaa-Ahenkro, will lock horns against Aduana Stars. The trip is a difficult one for the Phobians considering how poor they have been against the Ogya Boys, historically.
