A worker at a block factory has escaped after fatally stabbing a 26-year-old man named Wisdom Tetteh Assem in Adorkorpe, near Ada Kasseh, in the Greater Accra Region.
The incident occurred after a disagreement between the suspect, Eric Kartel, and Assem.
The suspect reportedly claimed that the deceased had urinated at a location where a Valentine’s Day event was taking place.
It is claimed that Kartel took Assem’s phone during the confrontation, which later developed into a conflict.
The suspect reportedly came back later with a pair of scissors and fatally injured Assem.
A friend of the suspect has been arrested while authorities initiate a search for Kartel.
The Ada Divisional Police have recovered the weapon used in the murder and are looking for information about Kartel’s location.
