In an effort to counter the allegations leveled against him by Hajia4Reall and her supporters, Luvman Allison, the father of Hajia’s daughter, has come forward with his own claims.
Previously, in court documents submitted by Hajia4Reall’s lawyers prior to her sentencing, it was asserted that her former partner, Latif (known as Luvman Allison), had utilised her accounts to receive funds from unknown sources.
According to Hajia4Reall’s attorney, Elenor Fast, Luvman allegedly supported himself financially through fraudulent activities while on probation following a previous arrest by US authorities.
Additionally, Hajia4Reall’s sister testified that Luvman had used her sister’s accounts for charges related to romance scams, implicating him further.
However, Luvman has vehemently denied these allegations and has presented a different perspective.
He has asserted that he has always supported Hajia4Reall and their daughter financially and emotionally.
Luvman claims he even enrolled Hajia4Reall in a fashion school in the US to help improve her life, despite their strained relationship.
He maintains that he has never engaged in fraudulent activities and remains devoted to his daughter’s well-being.
“I enrolled her in a fashion school in America to help her improve her life, but she did not follow through. Despite our strained relationship, I continued to make positive changes and support her, even after she faced similar charges in Ghana.
“Mona and I share a beautiful daughter, who remains a significant part of my life. I am both financially and physically invested in her well-being,” parts of the statements read.
In a surprising twist, Luvman also revealed that their relationship was marred by infidelity and betrayals, particularly highlighting Hajia4Reall’s alleged cheating habits.
He mentioned a significant incident in 2017 where he discovered she had been involved with a popular Ghanaian artiste who was also his friend, leading to the total breakdown of their relationship.
“Our relationship deteriorated further when Mona was involved with an artiste, who was also a friend of mine. This led us to part ways in November 2017. Our relationship was troubled also, partly due to warnings about Mona’s promiscuous lifestyle,” he added.
How Luvman’s friends earlier defended him amidst Hajia4Reall’s claims
Regarding his legal troubles, Luvman’s supporters earlier argued that his previous issues with the US government were related to drug offenses, not romance scams.
They asserted that Hajia4Reall’s accusations were an attempt to shift blame, emphasising that Luvman had served time in the US for drug-related charges before being deported to Ghana.
The complexities of their relationship and the accusations continue to unfold, revealing a turbulent history involving legal battles and personal conflicts.
Background:
On June 29, 2024, Hajia4Reall was sentenced to a year and a day in jail after a lengthy trial with US authorities that began in 2022.
The case was centered around a romance fraud scheme that allegedly defrauded approximately $2 million from forty victims, primarily elderly men.
Hajia4Reall’s legal team accepted the one-year sentence, which was less severe than the government’s initial request for 37 to 46 months of imprisonment.
