Fire has gutted portions of the Job 600 building which serve as offices for Members of Parliament(MPs) and their research assistants.

It also houses conference rooms and offices for other senior staff.

The incident occurred on Tuesday morning, causing fear and panic among some persons present.

The cause of the fire is however yet to be established.

Adom News’ Parliamentary correspondent, Ohene Amponsah who was at the scene reported that, occupants have successfully been evacuated to safety

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has dispatched three fire engines have been deployed to the scene.

GNFS personnel are actively working to contain the fire.
