Bayern Munich have started the new season with a bang. Vincent Kompany’s side pulverised Hamburg 5-0 to maintain their 100 per cent start to the season on Saturday.

Harry Kane, Luis Diaz, Pavlovic and Serge Gnabry were all on the scoresheet. The club have scored 14 goals and conceded just two in three games, making it clear that they will defend their league title.

Senegalese forward Nicholas Jackson, who is on a season-long loan from Chelsea, replaced German forward Serge Gnabry in the 46th minute.

The former Villarreal striker impressed Harry Kane on his debut, with the English skipper expecting Jackson to complement the club’s attack.

“If you follow the Premier League, you can see that he has many good attributes. He creates a lot of chances. And he’s here to help the team.

“We’re already working together in training and finishing together.

“I feel he can have a big impact for us this season, with his speed, his movement, and his goals”, Kane told Goal.com after his brace against Hamburg.

Bayern Munich will switch its attention to the UCL fixture against Chelsea on Thursday at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
