The 32-year-old shocked many by winning the nod to start Ghana’s rounds 5 and 6 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar at the expense of the experienced Lawrence Ati-Zigi and Joe Wollacot.
He is considered the best Ghanaian goalkeeper now by Black Stars head coach Otto Addo and his coaching staff.
