England’s search for a new manager to replace Gareth Southgate continues as the FA has not yet given any information about who they’re appointing.
2nd August was deadline for interested coaches to submit their CVs to the FA for assessment with Pep’s name missing from the numerous applications.
Spanish manager Josep Guardiola told reporters during Manchester City’s pre-season tour of the United States: “I am here, I am really pleased. I cannot say anything. I don’t know where it has come from. I am really satisfied here”.
There have been many rumors that Pep might go for the vacant English head coach position since Gareth Southgate stepped down.
“I am desperate for when the players are ready to come back to start to train all together and refresh what we have to do,” Pep added.
Pep Guardiola’s comments suggest that he is extremely excited to continue his job for Manchester City hence confirming his intention to reject the English job.
