The pressure is still on Aboubakar Ouattara so far as Hearts of Oak is not winning consistently.

Phobia travelled to the struggling Dreams FC and drew goalless on Sunday afternoon in week 7 of the GPL.

Hearts of Oak’s attacking duo of Hamza Issah and Asamoah Boateng Afriyie have not hit the level the club requires with Issah scoring only two goals in seven games while Asamoah Boateng Afriyie is yet to score for Hearts of Oak since joining from Nations FC.

After the goalless draw against Dreams FC, Phobia’s head coach Aboubakar Ouattara was very angry after a journalist questioned him on why his strikers are failing to score goals for the club.

Ouattara told the journalist that he will not listen to his advice.

“I don’t need you to advise me’, Ouattara said.

Hearts of Oak’s inconsistency is unbelievable. The club has not won a game back-to-back since March 3rd 2024 when they won three games consecutively.

After matchday 7, Hearts of Oak sits 9th on the league table having won 9 points from possible 21. Only 4 goals have been scored and 4 have been conceded.

Unbeaten in the last 5 games, Accra Hearts of Oak will face the in-form Bibiani Gold Stars in Week 8 at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon and Ouattara should prepare for more questions from the press if he fails to win.
