“No player is bigger than the club”- Hearts of Oak head coach, Aboubakar Ouattara

Hearts of Oak recorded a precious 2-0 win over Nations FC on Friday night at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Early goals from Kasim Cisse and Hamza Issah ensured a great win for Aboubakar Ouattara’s men which helped move them to 11th with just two games against rivals Accra Great Olympics and Bechem United left before the end of the season.

After the victory over Nations FC, Nana Darkwa Gyasi of StarTimes asked head coach Abubakar Ouattara: “Will Hearts of Oak survive in this season’s Premier League?

“We need to survive and that is the only thing I can tell you”, replied Ouattara, Hearts of Oak’s head coach.

Phobia cannot afford to be relegated because it will just be so embarrassing and catastrophic to the Ghanaian giants.

Aboubakar Ouattara knows how big the club is and it will tarnish his image and reputation if he leads them to the Division One.

Hearts of Oak will need at least one win from the last two games to have a chance of avoiding relegation.
