An ex-television presenter now turned energy healer claims she can banish demons — but instead of destroying them she sends them to ‘paradise’.

Antonia Harman, 44, from Cornwall, said she discovered her powers in 2007 after curing a friend’s burst eardrum by pulling out a snake-like ‘demon’.

This life-changing experience led her to quit a career in modelling and TV presenting to perform exorcisms and helping others unlock their own ‘magical’ abilities.

Ms Harman believes we live in a multi-dimensional world, where demons feed on people’s emotional energy, and claims to have even seen one in IKEA.

It looked like a ‘metallic octopus’, she claims — when she got home, she said she pulled it out of her and beheaded it.

However this was her final demon slaying: Ms Harman now describes herself as a ‘divine travel agent’, claiming to guide demons to a happier place.

October is her busiest time of year, as it is ‘the dark side’s major holiday’ — referring to Halloween.

She said: ‘I realised that if demons are the cause of people’s stresses and negative thoughts, they must be taking orders from someone else, higher up.

‘They are slaves and don’t deserve to be killed. So I started sending them to live out their lives in harmony in different universes.

‘I send them to another universe’s paradise — whether that be Disney World, The Ritz, or The Bahamas or Gotham City — just wherever paradise is for them.’

In 2000, Ms Harman worked as a television presenter for the satellite quiz show Sweet And Sassy while also pursuing a modelling career.

However, in 2007, she decided to take her career in a new direction after discovering her ‘healing powers’ and claiming to have cured her friend’s burst eardrum.

Ms Harman recalled: ‘She felt like she was being stabbed in her ear and it was extremely painful.

‘She fell to her knees and was screaming, “Help me, help me, fix my ear”.

‘So I put my hands to her ears and started channelling energy, and, to my surprise, a demon that resembled a snake started to come out of her ear.

‘I pulled this thing out of her, like feeding a rope, and it was about a foot-and-a-half long.’

Ms Harman claims that from that moment, her friend never had any further issues with her ear.

She said this experience prompted her to leave her television job and pursue a career as an energy healer and teacher, performing exorcisms and removing unwanted spirits from homes and people.

‘I mean, the whole thing was so extreme, it changed the structure of my life because I had a lot of faith in normal Western medicine,’ she explained.

Ms Harman’s work as an exorcist is not recognised as a medical treatment by the NHS nor is it based on any science.

It’s vital that patients visit their GP if they have a health condition, before considering a complementary and alternative medicine practitioner, the NHS warns.

In 2022 Former X Factor contestant Diana Vickers claimed a Ms Harman helped rid her of the crippling pain of hormonal condition endometriosis.

At the time, Ms Vickers said: ‘I was surprised, like how can that be possible, but it happened and I have to just be happy and grateful it has.’

Ms Harman added: ‘I think they’re always around us — angels, demons, all that sort of stuff.

‘And I certainly think that when people are getting very stressed out or anxious, it’s the demons trying to feed on their emotional energy.’

She acknowledges that her claims may be hard to believe, especially for those who have not witnessed such events themselves.

‘I think the proof is in the pudding. I mean, from working with so many people whose lives I’ve improved by removing literal demons, it’s amazing,’ Ms Harman said.

In 2011, she founded Divine Empowerment, a business offering energy healing and classes to help others unlock their ‘healing and magical’ abilities.

She believes everyone has these gifts, but many struggle to access them.

In her day-to-day life, she said she sees demons almost every day — and a few years ago, she claims she encountered a demon in IKEA while shopping with her mother.

She said: ‘I saw this thing that looked like a squiddy from The Matrix — it was like a metallic octopus.

‘It sort of jumped diagonally three or four times, staggering in front of me, and then it jumped inside my chest and started compressing my lungs and heart.

‘I was very uncomfortable and then I started to get very irritated, grumpy, tired and stressed out.’

Realising ‘IKEA wasn’t the best place to fight a demon’, she said she waited until she got home.

Over time, however, Ms Harman began to question whether she should be killing demons.

With Halloween approaching, Ms Harman believes people are more vulnerable to spiritual attachments, as fear makes them easier targets.

She added: ‘There’s a lot of black magic going on around Halloween, so things amp up.

‘It’s the dark side’s major holiday, so there’s certainly more darkness around than there might normally be.’

Despite this, Ms Harman maintains that positivity is the most powerful tool for banishing spirits.

She said: ‘The best thing to do is let go of any anger or trauma and try to relax your mind so they can’t latch on to any negative thoughts.’

Ms Harman is appearing on a Sky three-part television series called The Healing Revolution in December about her gifts, which she said she ‘cannot wait to share with others’.
