“I told my mother that there is no need to buy me gifts on my 17th birthday”- Lamine Yamal

Lamine Yamal will turn 17 on Saturday, a day before the finals of the Euro 2024 against England at the Berlin Olympiastadion.

Many fotball fans believe that the 16-year-old boy has passed football test after dazzling at one of the biggest stages of world football.

The Barcelona youngster spoke of Rabiot’s comments before Spains 2-1 win over France in the semi-finals.

“Rabiot’s words? No need to give that importance. The person knows himself.” Adrien Rabiot played mind games by telling the whole world that Lamine Yamal must do more against France and the boy did more that Rabiot could imagine.

“My goal? I don’t know if it is the best goal of the tournament, but for me it is very special as it is my first goal in Euro 2024 with the senior team.” Yamal scored probably the best goal of the tournament after firing an unstoppable shot from the edge of the box to equalise for Spain against France.

“Since the 60th minute I was thinking that we were going to reach the final. I watched the last Euros with my friends in a shopping center. I am very happy to reach the final now.”

The youngster expressed his delight in booking a ticket with Spain to the finals of the Euro 2024 against England. He revealed that he watched the last European Championship finals with his friends at a shopping center.

“I told my mother that there is no need to buy me gifts on my 17th birthday, if we win the Euro 2024.”

Lamine Yamal will turn 17 on the eve of the finals agianst England and he has revealed that he told his mother not to spend any cash on him for his birthday.

Lamine Yamal’s story in football is very unbelievable as his age doesn’t match his performance. It is likely he will win the Young Player of the Tournament and he can also win the Best Player of the Tournament too depending on the result on Sunday night in Berlin.
