In Palma de Mallorca at the Estadio Mallorca San Moix, Spain ended their preparations for Euro 2024 in a grand manner.

La Roja eviscerated Northern Ireland 5-1 to make it back-to-back wins in their preparation games before the tournament kicks off on Friday.

21-year-old Pedri who was a star turn in Euro 2020 when Spain reached the semi-finals scored the first goal and proved to everyone that he has recovered from the injuries he suffered for most of the 2023-24 season.

The young midfielder when speaking after the game assured Spanish fans that he is fully fit for the tournament.

“With the first goal in mind, it’s clear that the injury is now a thing of the past”.

Barcelona and Spanish national team fans will hope that Pedri will be fully fit for the Euros and next season as he is a player that they need.

“I’m feeling physically great and very excited for Euro 2024 to begin”. Pedri is expected to be part of Spain’s midfield trio alongside Manchester City’s Rodri and PSG’s Fabian Ruiz.

Luis de la Fuentas is extremely excited to have Pedri back in his squad. Spain is placed in Group B alongside Croatia, Italy and Albania. They will commence their journey against Croatia in Berlin at the Olympiastadion on 15th June at 4 pm.
