Polygamy is something that Sub-Sahara Africa cherishes as our forefathers used to hold it in high esteem. The practice was so popular in this region, and it is little by little fading because of the ripple effects.

RMD for short, the veteran actor, in an interview with Bae U Barbie, bemoaned the unfairness of an African man to be married to only one woman when he was forced to share his idea on polygamy.

“You are married to only one woman. Do you think that is fair? Do you have an idea of how many women [who] want you?” Bae U Barbie asked.

“I don’t but I think it is unfair to be married to just one woman. My father had five [wives].”

RMD revealed that he is not aware of the kinda women interested in him. He revealed that his father was married to five different women, and it is very unfair, in his opinion, to have a single wife as a man.

RMD is married to television personality Jumobi Adegbesan. The couple got married after he lost his first wife, talk show host May Ellen ‘MEE’ Mofe-Damijo in 1996.
