Maximiliano Allegri’s reign was cut short a few weeks before the end of the season due to bad results.

The Old Ladies sacked Allegri after a disastrous run from the start of 2024 to the later part of the season. It was all rosy for Juventus at the beginning of the season as they put up a great show.

Juventus on Wednesday confirmed the appointment of Thiago Motta, 41, as the new head coach.

The former Italian international led Bologna to 5th in the Serie A securing a UEFA Champions League slot for the minnows.

The Brazillian-born former Barcelona, Inter Milan and PSG midfielder is expected to bring back Juventus to their best as he displayed at Bologna that he has the capabilities.
