West Ham United’s star forward Mohammed Kudus has been ranked Africa’s second most valuable player according to CIES at €89.6 million ahead of the 2024/25 transfer window.

Kudus was signed by the Hammers from Ajax in a deal worth €42 million.

The talented 23-year-old has exceeded expectations having put up Grade A performances throughout the entire campaign.

Chelsea’s Nicholas Jackson who is valued at €99.3m is the number 1 on the list. Bayer Leverkusen’s Nigeria striker Victor Boniface is in third position at €86.5 million.

Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen who’s the current African footballer of the year is 4th and valued at €85.6 million.

Morocco’s Real Madrid star Ibrahim Diaz completes the top 5 with a value of €76.4 million.

Pape Matar Sarr (Senegal), Ousmane Diomande (Ivory Coast), Edmund Tapsoba (Burkina Faso), Andre Onana (Cameroon) and Simon Adingra (Ivory Coast) complete the top 10.
