Joseph E. Sarpong has warned Asante Kotoko about their unbelievable transfer deals in recent years. The veteran head coach is not happy with the way the Porcupine Warriors is run in terms of transfers.
Asante Kotoko has released more than 15 players and have started recruiting so many players for the imminent 2024-25 season.
In an interview with Mothers FM in Accra, JE Sarpong revealed that that policy isn’t helping the Porcupine Warriors.
“It will affect the team. They’ve been sacking players every season. Where is the stability? Ogum sacked eleven players when he came and brought another eleven but they struggled. We have to keep some old players. We know how players are. We don’t go out and describe them as politicians when they are wrong. It is how you manage the team,” daid Coach JE Sarpong.
“For example, Amankona was bought from Chelsea to Kotoko because of his scoring prowess but he returned to Berekum to win the golden boot. It means there is something basically wrong with Adante Kotoko.They will go to relegation if they don’t take care,” added Sarpong.
The experienced coach has warned Asante Kotoko to put a halt to that beheaviour else it will lead them to destruction.
