On Sunday 13th October 2024 in the mid-morning, Leicester City and Ghanaian forward, Jordan Ayew’s Team Ayew, made a donation to an orphanage home in Liberia.

The last son of the legendary Abedi Pele is currently on international duty with the Black Stars in Libya praparing to face Sudan on Tuesday afternoon in a make or break tie for both teams in the bid to qualify for AFCON 2025.

Due to the national assignment, Jordan was represented by Team Ayew Liberia.

Jordan Ayew has a vibrant and vociferous fan club in Liberia. They always show their admiration and support to the Ghanaian striker who has been one of the African stars in the English Premier League for nearly a decade.

Items donated include mattresses, bags of rice, assorted sanitary materials and other essential items.

The Love a Child Orphanage in VOA Community was the sole beneficiary of the player’s goodwill gesture.
