Kurt Okraku’s second term as the president of the Ghana Football Association will end in 2027.
The president and his people have planned to go for a third term, and they are on the verge of achieving their aim.
After Nyantakyi, following an exposé by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw, was made to step down, Kurt won the election and became the first president post-Anas exposé in 2019.
The constitution only allows presidents to go for two terms, but he is set to enjoy a third term after delegates on Tuesday voted and agreed on Okraku to continue beyond 2027 as the FA president of Ghana.
Ghana football continues to be in a mess, but club officials are not ready for change to save it.
