Senegal moves two places backwards on the world stage but is still the number two in Africa.
Nigeria has moved 8 steps backwards in the world rankings but sits 5th on the African rankings after disastrous matchday 3 and 4 performances in the 2026 FIFA World Rankings.
Ghana is still outside the top 10 on the continent as they are ranked 12th after moving 4 places higher.
