A 13-year-old girl has been allegedly gangraped by over 20 men at Madina in Accra, leaving her pregnant. The young victim, a pupil of Madina No. 3 School, was reportedly assaulted by the men, who included teenagers.
The main suspect, a 45-year-old mason, Clement Kwame, who resides close to the victim’s home, allegedly lured her with false promises before forcing her into the horrific act.
Kwame is further accused of coordinating the attacks with several accomplices, some believed to be his friends. The victim was severely threatened to remain silent, which significantly hampered her ability to seek help. Kwame is currently at large.
