Man dies mysteriously on Kumasi–Wa bus, police appeal for family

A young man believed to be in his early thirties has died under circumstances that are yet to be established while travelling on a Kumasi–Wa bus.

According to accounts from fellow passengers, the man boarded the bus in Kumasi bound for Wa. Shortly after the vehicle passed Poyentanga, a passenger seated nearby noticed he had become unresponsive and raised the alarm.

Attempts to revive him proved unsuccessful, and it was later confirmed that he had passed away during the journey.

Preliminary identification suggests the deceased may be one Dabuo Francis, though this has not yet been officially confirmed by the Ghana Police Service.

The exact cause of death remains unknown, and it is not yet clear whether he had any pre-existing health condition or whether the death was linked to the journey itself.

The body has since been handed over to the appropriate authorities for further investigation.

According to Upper West Media, Police in the area are appealing to members of the public who may know the young man or his family to come forward and assist with identification, as efforts continue to trace his next of kin.
