The Athletic Football writer and broadcaster David Ornstein has revealed that Manchester United’s manager, Ruben Amorim, is very much in love with Antoine Semenyo.
Discussing Bournemouth’s incredible season, the renowned journalist praised Semenyo and disclosed the Red Devils’ interest in him.
“There is Antoine Semenyo. What a season he had had. He is a player that Manchester manager Rubin Amorin is very fond of” David Ornstein revealed on NBC Sports Soccer.
“They would be looking to sell him for a fee over what they got for Dominic Solanke, which was 65m pounds because there is no release clause. They would want a club record,” David added.
Antoine Semenyo will definitely attract the big clubs after wonderful performances from the Ghanaian forward.
The former Bristol City attacker joined Bournemouth in a deal worth £10.3 M in 2023 and has unbelievably improved to the satisfaction of the Cherries family.
Manchester United will chase more attackers in the upcoming transfer window and Antoine Semenyo will be considered by Ruben Amorim.
The 25-year-old Ghanaian forward has scored 8 goals and provided 4 assists in the EPL, helping the club to still be in contention for European football next season.
The club will demand not less than £65M for his signature as they will be expecting something higher than the club-recorded sale of Dominic Solanke to Tottenham Hotspur.
