At the Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon in Manchester, the Red Devils fans were heard mentioning, chanting and cheering the name of the interim boss, Ruud Van Nistelrooy after the 3-0 win over Leicester City.

The former Manchester United striker who was a fan favourite for five good years at the Old Trafford took charge of the team after fellow Dutch manager was sacked by the club in October for poor performances.

Since Ruud Van Nistelrooy took over as the interim boss, the Red Devils have won 3 games and drawn one from the four played scoring 11 goals and conceding 3.

Ruud Van Nistelrooy brought the vibe back at the Old Trafford through his gestures on the touchline.

The fans have enjoyed the short spell of their beloved legend, Van Nistelrooy, with many wanting him to be part pf Ruben Amorim’s backroom staff.

Amorim will commence his Manchester United reign on Monday and will play his first competitive game against Ipswich Town at the Portman Road after the international break on 24th November 2024.

Bruno Fernandes, Alejandro Garnacho and an own goal from Victor Kristiansen ensured a smooth 3-0 win for Manchester United against Leicester City.
