Stephen Amankonah put away the bad moments that happened to him when he played for Asante Kotoko and decided the game for Berekum Chelsea in Kumasi.

Life in Oseikrom was so horrible for Stephen Amankonah as he failed to announce his presence to the Fabulous family.

Since returning back to his old stomping ground in Berekum, life has been incredibly fantastic for the red-hot forward.

Baba Yara Stadium welcomed her boy as he led Samuel Boadu’s Berekum Chelsea to record a slim 1-0 win over Bechem United. Stephen Amankonah’s 30th-minute strike was all that Chelsea needed to secure a place in the semi-finals.

Berekum Chelsea’s head coach, Samuel Boadu, is little by little becoming a specialist in the FA Cup. He twice won the competition in 2021 and 2022 for Hearts of Oak.

Many tip him to lift the trophy even though Asante Kotoko will be a huge threat.
