My anointing led to the release of Chairman Wontumi – Evangelist Agradaa

Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bernard Antwi Boasiako, aka Chairman Wontumi, was detained by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), which led to the Minority of Ghana’s Parliament staging a mini demonstration demanding his release. EOCO slapped 500 billion old Ghana cedis on Wontumi’s head before he would be released.

Wontumi was released eventually to the delight of the NPP. Before his release, Agradaa was spotted at the premises of the EOCO before Wontumi was released.

Fans of Evangelist Agradaa wanted to know whether her presence at the EOCO office led to Wontumi’s release.

In a TikTok Live, she answered Ghanaians about the questions of Chairman Wontumi’s release on June 2, 2025.

“Please, I am not the one who bailed him. It is my anointing that resulted in his release. It was my favour that released him. That is all,” Agradaa said.

Evangelist Agradaa told Ghanaians who wanted to know whether her presence contributed to the release of Chairman Wontumi.

“Yesterday, when I visited EOCO, my blessings splashed around the premises and even touched our dear brother, Chairman Wontumi, leading to him not being detained by the EOCO anymore,” she added.
