Victor Osimhen wanted to force his way out of Napoli and it failed badly.

London clubs Chelsea and Arsenal alongside Saudi PRO League side Al-Ahli have chased the striker throughout the entire transfer window but never finalised a deal for him.

On the Deadline Day, Chelsea made an offer of £4.5m per season to the Nigerian striker much to the disappointment of him and his entourage. It pushed the striker to reject Chelsea move because he’s already on €10m a season contract with Napoli.

Many expected him to join Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli who tabled a whooping £600k weekly contract. The deal failed to go through because they had already gotten assurance that Brentford and English striker Ivan Toney will join. Al-Ahli have now decided to not pursue Osimhen again leaving the striker in a mess now.

Napoli has excluded him from their final list of players for the 2024-25 Serie A season. The club has also stripped him of his favorite number 9 as it has been given to new signing Romelu Lukaku.

Saudi PRO League is still interested in the forward and he could sign for any of the clubs before the Saudi Transfer Window closes.
