The Member of Parliament for North Dayi, Joycelyn Quashie, has commissioned a brand-new DVLA Ultra Premium Centre in the constituency, marking a major milestone in the decentralisation of essential transport services in the area.

The ultra-modern and fully equipped facility forms part of the DVLA’s broader agenda to expand its operations nationwide.

According to the MP, the establishment of the Centre reflects her commitment to delivering practical, life-improving infrastructure that directly benefits her constituents and surrounding communities.

“The North Dayi DVLA Centre will register vehicles with the prefix ‘ND’ and offer all authorised DVLA services, bringing convenience to residents who previously had to travel long distances for these services. This Centre will create employment opportunities and boost the local economy, contributing to the socioeconomic well-being of the people,” she said on her social media handles.

The commissioning ceremony drew a remarkable gathering, including traditional rulers, the Chief Executive of the DVLA, Julius Neequaye, the District Chief Executive for North Dayi, Ernest Adevor, and several dignitaries and stakeholders.

In his remarks, the DVLA CEO lauded the MP’s unwavering support, describing the Centre as a significant step in improving service delivery in the region. He encouraged residents to make full use of the new facility to enhance compliance, convenience, and safety on the roads.
