Nottingham Forest has emerged as the latest Premier League club to express interest in signing Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah.

The 25-year-old forward, renowned for his sharp goal-scoring abilities, has already attracted the attention of Crystal Palace and Bournemouth, with interest also coming from French club Marseille earlier in the summer transfer window.

Arsenal initially valued Nketiah at €35 million, but negotiations with Marseille stalled as the French side struggled to meet this price, even after Nketiah showed a willingness to reduce his wage demands to facilitate the move.

With Marseille considering alternative targets like Youssoufa Moukoko and Elye Wahi, Arsenal lowered their asking price to €30 million, proposing a loan deal with an obligation to buy.

However, Marseille’s interest has reportedly hovered around the €25 million mark.

This development has potentially opened the door for other Premier League clubs, including Bournemouth and now Nottingham Forest, to make a move for the striker.

As the transfer window continues, it remains uncertain which club will ultimately secure Nketiah’s signature, but the competition is heating up as the deadline approaches.
