October FIFA Rankings: Ghana ranks 73rd by FIFA

Ghana is now ranked 73rd in the latest FIFA World rankings and 14th in Africa. The Black Stars have retrogressed to the extent that they are ranked

Ghana is now ranked 73rd in the latest FIFA World rankings and 14th in Africa.

The Black Stars have retrogressed to the extent that they are ranked outside the best 70 teams across the world.

Ghana drew goalless against Sudan in Accra on MD3 and lost 2-0 in Libya which has almost ended their chances to qualify for Morocco 2025.

Morocco still remains on top of the continent after smashing Central African Republic 9-0 on aggregate.

Senegal won 4 points against Malawi helping them to remain second on the continent.

Egypt defeated Mauritania home and away and has entered the Top 30 in the world.

Nigeria, Algeria, Cote d’Ivoire makes the Top 6. Tunisia sits 7th, Cameroon, Mali and DR Congo completes the top 10.
