Months after the official Guinness World Records website confirmed her feat, a young Ghanaian woman by the name of Felicity Asantewaa, has received her certificate for the Guinness World Record for the most cars washed by an individual in eight hours.

On March 9, 2024, Felicity embarked on a “wash-car-a-thon” challenge at the East Legon Executive Club premises in Accra.

She successfully washed 60 cars, surpassing the previous record by five cars.

Her determination and skill attracted crowds of supporters who witnessed her remarkable feat.

In July 2024, the Guinness World Record official website recognized Felicity for her feat, confirming her as the new World Record holder.

Fast-forward to September 2024 and Felicity has received her official certificate from the body.

Pictures sighted by GhanaWeb showed an ecstatic Felicity posing for pictures with her certificate. Further solidifying her claim.

Following her attempt, Felicity claimed she was motivated by a desire to empower young women in Ghana, promote gender equality, and highlight available opportunities for women.

Her initiative coincided with Afua Owusu Asantewaa Aduonum’s attempt to set a record for the longest singing marathon by an individual, marking a wave of inspiring achievements within the Ghanaian community.
