The magic of the MTN FA was in full swing as once again a minnow made it to the finals.
Golden Kick lost 2-1 in the finals at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium against Asante Kotoko where Kwame Poku’s brace settled the contest.

The game exceeded expectations with the Access Bank Division One League side Golden Kick shocking everyone.

Their head coach, Parker Hanson, has expressed his joy over his team’s performance in the finals.

“Playing in the MTN FA Cup final has been a great achievement and a valuable opportunity for the team”, – Fiifi Parker Hanson, Head Coach of Golden Kick, said in an interview on Asempa FM.

Ghanaian football fans were surprised by Golden Kick’s performance throughout the campaign, with the big clubs chasinging some of their players.
