Police Arrest Three in Kumasi Kidnapping CaseThe Ghana Police Service has arrested three individuals at Tanoso in the Ashanti Region for their alleged involvement in a kidnapping scheme.

The suspects, identified as 22-year-old Christiana Nyarko, Justice Arhin (24), and Samuel Jackitey (23), were taken into custody following an intelligence-led operation.

According to preliminary reports, the trio is accused of abducting 25-year-old Winefred Asieduwaa in early February 2026.

The victim was reportedly held hostage at a secluded location in Tanoso for one week while the suspects demanded a ransom from her family.

The authorities have launched a full investigation into the incident and have assured the public that all details regarding the crime and subsequent arrests will be disclosed as the case progresses.
