Saloon car overturns on Motorway; passengers escape death

Two women escaped death in an accident on the Ashaiman stretch of the Tema Motorway at around 5 a.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2024.

A video of the incident shows an overturned saloon car, which skidded off the road following light rains earlier that morning.

According to Citi news report, two women were in the vehicle at the time of the accident and sustained serious injuries.

Eyewitnesses quickly rushed them to the hospital for medical attention.

According to onlookers, the car was speeding when it veered off the road and somersaulted into a nearby bush.

The victims have been taken to the hospital for treatment.
