After five incredible years with Fiorentina, Ghanaian midfielder Alfred Joseph Duncan, 31, has parted ways with the Italian club.

The former Inter Milan Youth player joined Fiorentina from Sassuolo after spending four years there.

Fiorentina and Duncan have decided to end their marriage with both parties satisfied with the decision. The former Black Stars midfielder has made more than 100 appearances and scored 6 goals for the Italian side.

In the just ended 2023-24 season, Duncan made 40 appearances helping the club reach the final of the Europa Conference League albeit lost 1-0 to Olympiacos in Greece.

It is believed that Duncan will not short offers considering his experience and performance last season.
