Mario Balotelli Barwuah, 34, has signed for struggling Italian Serie A side, Genoa, until the end of the 2024-25 season.
The experienced Palermo born last played for Turkish side Adana Demirspor in the 2023-24 Turkish Super Lig where he scored 7 goals and provided 1 assist in 16 games.
Super Mario last played a competitive game in the club’s 6-1 thrashing by Gazientep at home where he received a red card in the 39th minute way back in May 2024.

In his career, Balotelli has won nine titles at a professional level with his teams. The former Italian striker is expected to energies Genoa who has won just 1 Serie A game the whole season. The club sits in the relegation zone (18th) after winning only 6 points from 9 games.
