Veteran Portuguese manager Carlos Queiroz, 71, has been appointed as the new head coach of the Tunisian National Team.
After three months of no manager for the senior national team of Tunisia, the Tunisian Football Federation has decided to name a permanent manager for the vacant role.
Caretaker head coach Kais Yaakoubi will step aside for the former Manchester United assistant coach and Real Madrid manager.
It would be the eighth national team coached by the Portuguese Mozambican. He has managed the national teams of Portugal, UAE, South Africa, Iran, Colombia, Egypt and Qatar.
With his vast experience, Queiroz is tasked to qualify Tunisia for their 7th FIFA World Cup and also finish in the semi-finals of the 2025 AFCON.
