An Uber driver who alleged that he was sexually assaulted by three women has reportedly received GH¢105,600 in compensation following widespread coverage of the incident on social media.

The driver, whose name has not been disclosed, previously described how the alleged incident took place at East Legon Hills. He lives in Kasoa Budumburam.

According to a report by Kasapa FM, shared on X and seen by GhanaWeb on 8 October 2026, the women involved paid the driver the money after reports and videos about the case circulated online.

The report said the driver had initially agreed to compensation of GH¢100,000. The women reportedly made an advance payment of GH¢50,000 before the total amount was increased to GH¢105,600.

The allegations emerged after the driver spoke about what he described as being sexually assaulted by the three women. The incident has since prompted widespread discussion online.

Some social media users have called on the Ghana Police Service to arrest the women over the allegations. Others have argued that the compensation does not justify the alleged act.

The identity of the driver has been withheld, and the allegations against the women have not been established in court.
