Victor Osimhem’s Napoli departure in the summer never seemed to be happening because the striker’s agency failed to secure a dream move to England and Saudi Arabia.
It happened after the transfer window was shut down in the major leagues in Europe. The reigning African Footballer of the Year agreed to play for Turkish side Galatasaray on a season long loan.
Osimhem has almost done half of his loan move so he must plan for a permanent move. When quizzed by the press on his future, the Nigerian disclosed that he is in Turkey until the end of the year.
“They are talking about January. I am here until the end of the season. I don’t know what Galatasaray and Napoli are talking about after that. We will talk when they tell me. This is a club I really like,” Osimhen said.
The Nigerian super star has scored 6 goals in 8 games since joining Galatasaray.
