Asante Kotoko won very late in the game against True Democracy at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi in the 4th game of the MTN FA Cup quarter-finals. Kwame Poku’s 95th-minute strike sparked massive jubilation among the fans and the coaching staff as their dream for the double dud was not due.

After the game in the post-match conference, Prosper Ogum said that his side wants to win every competition they will compete in.

“The aim of every coach is to win trophies; that’s the aim of every coach,” Ogum said.

“The aim of every player is to win trophies so that one day you can be remembered for.

“To me, we have to take it game by game. We’ve not gone to the semis. We are going to play against Berekum Chelsea.

“We just have to switch our attention to the league. When the time is due, about two weeks, we will redirect our attention to it. But I want to tell you we are working harder and harder,” Narteh added.

Asante Kotoko, after the victory, will switch their attention to the Ghana Premier League with a huge fixture against Berekum Chelsea.

Berekum Chelsea is their opponent in the semi-finals of the MTN FA Cup making the moment a huge and challenging one.

The Porcupine Warriors must face all that is coming their way if they want to achieve the double.
