Mohammed Kudus reminded West Ham United and football fans worldwide what he can do after putting a wonderful performance at the Emirates Stadium in London on Saturday afternoon against Arsenal.

The Ghanaian forward was unpayable as Arsenal’s centre-back pairing of William Saliba and Gabriel Malgahaes struggled to contain him.

After the game, the Hammers’ manager, Graham Potter was full of praise for Mohammed Kudus.

“He was really good. I think every day, he is a bit of an example. Every day in training, he’s been really, really good. His effort and his application have been top,” Potter said.

Mohammed Kudus displayed a great quality especially retaining and holding up the ball. The Ghanaian forward was too strong for Arsenal to handle.

“Sometimes when the team isn’t functioning as well as you would like, the individuals within it sometimes don’t look as good as they can be. But actually he’s been brilliant and I think he’s got the reward for that today because his performance was fantastic,” he added.

There were rumours of Kudus being sitting on the bench due to poor performances recently but Potter as he has been saying since replacing Lopetegui showed huge faith in him and started him.

The Hammers have been struggling in the current campaign and will need all the big boys to step up before things get out of hand.

Mo Kudus was probably the best player for West Ham United last season and he has failed to replicate the form that earned him much admirers in East London in the current campaign.

Jared Bowen’s first-half strike helped West Ham snatch a 1-0 win at Arsenal. Graham Potter’s side now sits in 16th position after winning 30 points from 26 games.
