FIFA president Gianni Infantino has confirmed the host nations for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2031 and 2035.
The 2027 Women’s FIFA World Cup, which will be the tenth edition, will be hosted in South America for the first time in Brazil after FIFA confirmed it in 2024.
It remained unknown which countries were going to host the 11th and 12th editions in 2031 and 2035 respectively until Infantino announced.
On Thursday, FIFA president Gianni Infantino confirmed that the USA will host the 2031 Women’s World Cup.
United Kingdom was also announced to have won the rights to host the 2035 edition as FIFA declared them the deserving hosts.
The FIFA Women’s World Cup has developed with the 2023 edition co-hosted by Austria and New Zealand a perfect example of how far women’s football has reached.
