Aviator is the ultimate killer now in betting as it is sharp, fast and furious. Gamblers can lose millions of cedis in a few minutes in Aviator. Many gamblers have shared their epiphanies on the deadly game but have continuously failed to quit it due to an uncontrollable addiction.

A 32-year-old man named George on “The Nana Aba Series” has confessed his Aviator addiction leading him to squander his boss’ 150,000 cedis to play the game.

The young man, who is currently in therapy to get his life back on track, confessed to stealing more than a whopping GH¢150,000 from his boss and stupidly investing it in Aviator.

I quickly ran to Google and searched for the meaning of Aviator in Betting.

Aviator, also known as “Aviator Casino,” involves betting on the outcome of a virtual card being drawn. The game typically presents players with a line graph that starts at 1x and fluctuates as the game progresses. The objective is to predict when the graph will crash and cash out before it does to secure winnings.

“After national service, I was supposed to be employed full time at where I had it but unfortunately it didn’t work out so I returned home.

“I was home for a month or two and decided to look for a job so I wrote to one hospital in Cape Coast to work there even without a salary. I voluntarily worked there for two months and got a call from Accra for an interview.

“The HR told me after the interview to start working the next day. I was so happy, I told my girlfriend and my family members.

“I was already into betting and had been investing 100 cedis, 200cedis in the Aviator business.

“In my mind, I said now I’m going to receive a salary at the end of the month so I’m going to use that to play. My first salary came, I used it to play,” George said.

Nana Aba quickly chipped in and asked the amount he was paid ?, “It was 2,400 cedis as my monthly salary,” he replied. “I used everything to play,” he added.

“Did you win anything back?” Nana Aba asked.

“The funny thing is that when I win, I don’t take it out. I will still be playing so it can go to like 5,000 and I will still be playing till everything is gone,” George answered.

“I was not eating because the Aviator became my food. You feel that you’re hungry but you won’t eat, ” he said when asked about how he used to survive after squandering his monthly salary on Aviator.

He continued, “On one fateful day after work, I didn’t go home. I played and won 40,000 cedis and continued playing”. I invested my salary in it. I won 80,000 and a friend told me to stop playing after I delivered the news about my winnings. He withdrew 40k from my account for me when watching me live play the game.

“My friend warned me to stop and I told him I wanted all my money back because I had lost a lot. I had reached my limit in terms of withdrawal until the next day. I continued to play and reached 49,000 cedis. The money kept reducing and I lost the 49,000 instantly. I started calling him and ordered him to put the 40,000 left in my account.

“I told my friend to keep 10k and I lost all the 30k he deposited. I lost it all in one day. I could not take it anymore and informed my boss. He wept for me. A dismissal letter was given to me and that was the beginning of the end for me.

Nana Aba asked you didn’t stop.

“You can’t stop. Aviator makes you behave like a madman who is carrying debris or refuses to put it in a certain place. The only difference between you and the man is probably, that you have where you sleep but they [the madmen], they keep roaming. In your mind, you have this money that you want to go for, but you never get it,” he said.

“So one morning I was going to work, I was in a hurry, I just looked at it and played the game then boom it got to 80.

He thought it was a sign of a good omen. George could not give a yes or no answer when Nana Aba Anamoah said he was an expert in Aviator.

“I know how to play but it will drain you, it is evil, it will make you not see money as money. You will see it as numbers. So when you are losing it, you don’t care,” he added.

“It got to a point that I was not returning home after work because my mind was on Aviator. I broke up with my girlfriend eventually because I was not taking care of her, even though she was not demanding.

“I lost the job in October 2023, fast forward to the same year, I got a new job in December. The new job was paying 3,500 cedis monthly salary so it was even higher compared to the first one. When my first salary came, I owed some people so I paid. When the money was reduced, I decided to play the game and get the cashback. I started playing and lost everything.

“I wanted to win 100,000 cedis as it was my target. I lost my new job too thanks to Aviator. I used to hide on the toilet to play hence making me less effective at work. I remember I had an issue about money with a colleague. I was not even done with my probation so I was sacked again. George came back to square one,” he added.

Nana Aba asked, “Do you want the game to be banned?” Yes, it should be banned because the game picks your mind, and how you play and they will give it to you. It is the reason why you never win. They will follow your pattern, how you play it and they pick it.

“The Betting Company have your details so how you’ll play, they know it. I have been blocked from all betting companies because I know how to win but I don’t withdraw the cash because I’m addicted. I informed them to block my accounts, said the 32-year-old who has played the game since 2019.

“Who introduced you to betting?”, Nana Aba asked.

“I saw someone playing and decided to test myself.

“I got a new job and started playing again chasing my 100,000 cedis. Somewhere in July 2024, I won 120,000 cedis with 50 cedis. I started on Monday and won 30,000 on 22Bet. They wanted not to give me the money. I won 80,000 again. I announced my winnings to all my friends and family members and sent everyone something. I didn’t withdraw.

“I was all alone and started playing once again. I lost everything completely. I went days without bathing, didn’t eat was so restless. I stole more than 150k cedis to bet on Aviator from my boss. My boss doesn’t know that I stole that huge amount from her. She thinks I only stole 7k.

George is now in deep pain and has advised the youth to desist from betting because it is the ultimate killer. Sharing his epiphanies, he kept on mentioning addiction stating that it is the reason why he won nearly 100,000 cedis but stupidly failed to withdraw and subsequently lost it.

Aviator is now the king of the betting airwaves. The younger generation is fully into it because of how quick the results are.
