CBF announces Carlo Ancelotti as Brazil’s new head coach

“The greatest national team in the history of football will now be led by the most successful coach in the world. Carlo Ancelotti, synonymous with historic achievements, was announced this Monday by the president of the CBF, Ednaldo Rodrigues, as the new coach of the Brazilian national team. He will lead Brazil until the 2026 World Cup and will coach the team in the next two qualifying games against Ecuador and Paraguay, next month.”

Real Madrid’s most successful manager has been appointed by Brazil, the most successful national team, as the new head coach of the Selecao.

Brazil has finally gotten their man after two years of constantly courting the Italian supremo.

Carlo Ancelotti has a track record of improving players as he is the last manager that a Brazilian won the Balon d’Or under his care. Kaka was the last Brazilian to win the Balon d’Or in 2007 when he led AC Milan to their seventh UCL title under Ancelotti.

Players like Vinicius Jnr and Rodrygo Goes have all become stars at Los Blancos and the CBF expects the veteran manager to repeat his magic for improving Brazilian footballers in the national team.

The 5 time UEFA Champions League winner and Real Madrid reached an agreement to part ways at the of the season after both parties failed to reach an agreement to continue their marriage.

Brazil sacked Dorival Junior after the 4-1 thumping in Buenos Aires by Argentina in March. The result was embarrassing, and the Federation decided to sacrifice Dorival Jnr, who has struggled to improve the team since his appointment.

Brazil will play Paraguay and Ecuador in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in June and Ancelotti is expected to lead the team.

He will definitely take Brazil to the 2026 World with the CBF expecting him to win their 6th World Cup trophy.
