Ghanaian midfielder Ransford Königsdörffer has agreed to move to the French Ligue 1 side OGC Nice from the German 2. Bundesliga side Hamburg.
The youngster, after three good years with Hamburg, has decided to seek a new challenge.
The Berlin-born plays for the Ghana Black Stars and he is relying on his move to the French top Division to become a key part of Otto Addo’s side.
Ransford will sign a 4 year deal for Nice subject to passing his medical test.

“One of the star players of last season’s 2. Bundesliga, Ransford Königsdörffer is about to complete a move to France. French outlet RMC reports that Hamburg and Nice are in advanced talks to complete a summer transfer.
“Hamburg is keen on the move to avoid losing the player for free next year. The reported transfer fee is around €6 million. HSV announced the contract extension of Merlin Polzin earlier today.
“The 23-year-old has spent three seasons at Hamburg since signing from Dynamo Dresden. He had his best season last term with 14 goals to help HSV secure a long-awaited Bundesliga promotion.
